Agriculture
Ditterly has produced quality livestock; traditionally sheep and cattle have been run on the property.
In the colonial days the settlers would corral their sheep in a natural occurring island on the river known as The Pound. The river acted as a natural fence.
As part of the noxious weed control program 385 hectares was planted to an oat crop in 2003/2004.

The property is currently running approximately 200 head of Black Angus steers.
There is an existing stand of 120 hectares of remnant vegetation on the eastern boundary of the property.
